King of the Mountain - postponed!

For those of you who were looking forward to the start of our 2nd annual King of the Mountain series, we have good news and bad news. The bad news is that our scheduled start for this Sunday has been canceled. The good news is that we already have a re-scheduled date - next Sunday, June 13th. We'll meet at Town Cycle, 1468 Union Valley Road, West Milford. Please be considerate of our church-going neighbors as we park and warm up, and please be ready to roll at 9 a.m. - we wait for no one!

As always, if you have any questions, drop us a line! In the meantime, you have an extra weekend to train, so get out there!

Weekend rides!

Looks like one of those summer weekends where we dodge thunderstorms, but we'll try to ride anyway!

Friday - our usual Friday night Clinton Road ride! Keep an eye to the sky, but as long as we're not dealing with lightening, we'll meet at the usual place, the old Village Square Inn parking lot at 6 p.m. It's hot - bring plenty of water!

Saturday - it's the 3rd annual JORBA Bike Fest! Join our good friend and fellow club member Jeff Mergler as JORBA hosts its' 3rd annual fest! Rides, clinics, giveaways, contests, swaps, stuff for the kids, etc. - it's all there! Bring some canned goods as well to help local food pantries. Still a possibility of organizing something for Sunday - if we come up with anything, we'll post it on the blog and Twitter.

Reminder - it's Friday night road ride time!

Get your weekend off to a good start with a road ride tonight! Meet us at 6 p.m. at the old Village Square Inn parking lot, and we'll be wheels down shortly thereafter. Bring a friend, a spouse - whomever! If we have enough people, we'll break up into different speed pace groups as well.

Rides, rides, rides!

Besides our Wednesday ladies ride and Friday Clinton Road ride, we're throwing in a late addition - a mountain bike ride on Thursday. Meet us at the Cherry Ridge Road cul-de-sac (also know as Ferber Lane circle), off Clinton Road, at 5:30 p.m. We'll ride into Waywayanda from there - about a 2 hour, moderately paced ride.

A cancellation and an addition!

First - due to the weather, tonight's ladies ride on Clinton Road will be canceled. Hopefully next week we will have better weather!

Second - tomorrow (Thursday) the weather is supposed to be great, so come join us for a mountain bike ride at Jungle Habitat! We'll meet at the gate at 5:30 - all are welcome.

Third - reminder that we have started our famous Friday night road rides on Clinton Road. Weather permitting, we'll meet at the parking lot of the old Village Square Inn on Route 23, Newfoundland at 6 p.m.

Mountain Bike Ride - Thursday

It's been a while since we rode in Ringwood, so let's head there on Thursday, May 6. Meet us in the parking lot at Shepherd Lake at 5:30 p.m. Weather is supposed to be great, and hopefully the trails will be mostly dried out from today's rain. It will be a moderately paced training ride - come out and stretch those legs with us!

Clinton Road Rides are back!

It must be getting closer to summer - Clinton Road rides are back!

Our ladies Wednesday night road rides will start this Wednesday, May 5. Please park in the old Village Square Inn parking lot on Route 23 in Newfoundland, and meet us at 6 p.m. We welcome all levels of experience - come on out and give it a try!

Friday nights - it's time for the whole gang! Starting this week, on May 7, we will also meet at the old Village Square Inn lot on Route 23 in Newfoundland. Let's be ready to ride at 6 p.m. If the group gets big enough, we'll break it up into different paced groups as needed/wanted.
