Campmor H2H Race Series Final Results - 2008

The Campmor H2H (Hudson to Highlands) Mountain Bike Series concluded in October, and held their awards banquet last month in Mount Arlington, NJ. Team Town Cycle had another outstanding year in the H2H series.

First and foremost, congratulations to Trevor Kahl, champion of the Sport Jr. Men 10-14 category. Trevor had a great year, and easily won his class. Finishing second to Trevor in the Sport Jr. Men 10-14 class was Dillon Van Wart, last years' champion. Way to go boys!

Team Town Cycle had 6 other riders with top 10 finishes in the series. In the Sport Men 19-29 class, Daniel Petrone finished 9th. The Sport Men 35-39 class found BJ Kisch finishing 8th, and Chris Byrnes finishing 10th. Nick Tambe finished 10th in the Sport Men 40-44 category, and Karen Bouloucan finished 9th in the Women 35+ class. Finally, we had Dave Kahl finishing 4th in the Expert Men 40-49 class.

Congratulations to all of the Team Town Cycle riders who participated in this year's Campmor H2H Mountain Bike series. Let's also send a big "thank you" out to Campmor for their continued sponsorship of this great series, and a hearty "thanks" to all of the local bike clubs and shops for their sponsorship of the individual races.

We'll be posting the tentative 2009 schedule shortly - stay tuned!

Hang in there

Just like any long uphill grind, there is always the reward of flying down hill like a little kid screaming at the top of your lungs and having the best time of your life.

Meaning......
Team Town Cycle is in its final organizational stages.
We have elected an interim executive committee.
Ride details are getting worked out.
New sponsors are in the works.
Uniforms are being worked out.
And
the website is in the design process.

So please bear with us for just a bit more, the crux of the climb is in sight, and the fun will start in full swing before you know it.

Thanks for reading,
and
Thanks for your continued patience,

Bogert (BJ) Kisch
Secretary,
Team Town Cycle
