What are we up to?

Upcoming dates to remember!
  • Wednesday, June 27 - Ladies road ride on Clinton Road - it's going to be a beautiful night for a change - come join us! 6 p.m. start.
  • Friday, June 29 - the best way to kick off your weekend - Friday night road rides on Clinton Road - 6 p.m. start.
  • Friday, June 29 - a heads up to anyone thinking of catching a quick ride at Jungle after work - Thunder in the Highlands is taking place at JH on Friday night. It'll be a zoo there - you've been warned!
  • New addition! Saturday, June 30 - Road ride, Morris County, led by TTC's Sherri. Rockaway, Boonton, Kinnelon area – moderate pace/rolling hills – estimated 2-3 hrs. Meet at Kinnelon Pathmark parking lot (front lot – nearest Rt. 23) at 9am. Please RSVP to Sherri if you plan on joining.
  • Sat./Sun. June 30-July 1 - if you are up for a road trip, the UCI World Cup Mountain Bike and Downhill races are at Windham, NY this weekend. Race the course the pros ride or just go watch their mad skillz. More info on schedules, etc. here. Windham was hit extremely hard during last year's hurricane - this event is a great way to support the community in their recovery.
  • July 4 - kid friendly Rails to Trails ride starting in Sussex County, led by Reid Kisch & her dad. From BJ -
Start and end at the Morris Farm Road and Sussex Branch Trail intersection. Lunch at the Millside
Cafe (no credit cards accepted). Let me know how many are coming and I will give the Millside a
heads up. Reid wants to be rolling by 10 a.m. so she can eat lunch (best burgers ever) and get home
for a nap. Bring the kids and trailers. These Rails to Trails are usually really flat, wide and easy to
ride. Road bikes can handle it, but get some commuter tires for this one. Better yet, dig out the cross
bikes. Mountain bikes are welcome as well.
  • July 8 - our annual New Paltz ride! Thanks to everyone who has already RSVP'd - and for those who have not yet - what are you waiting for?? Our plan is to meet at Town Cycle at 8 a.m., with wheels down by 8:30 a.m. When RSVP'ing, please let us know whether you plan to do one way or round trip.
Planning on a ride this weekend? Let us know - we'll find you some riding buddies! info@teamtowncycle.com

Have a great week, everyone!
