We hope you are surviving all the snow and ice - we are all looking forward to warmer days! Barring more bad weather, we are planning to have our next trail maintenance day at Jungle Habitat on Sunday, February 8. Let's meet in the parking lot at 8:45 a.m., and we'll take it from there. Bring your warm clothes, gloves and some water - we'll provide the rest! As usual, check back here at the website for weather cancellations, etc.
Speaking of trail maintenance, earlier this month JORBA held its' annual board meeting at Allaire State Park. During the meeting, several volunteers were honored for all of their hard work throughout the year on the trails we ride on. Team Town Cycle's own Dave Van Wart was honored for all of the hard work and many hours he has put in for the development and improvement of Jungle Habitat. Congratulations Dave! Check out the article on the JORBA website - http://tinyurl.com/b6e7r3
We hope to see you on February 8th - email us with any questions!

HEY RACERS !!!!!
so you think you go fast & take lots of chances, eh?
well write it all down in a nice resume template and let us know all about your achievements (or exploits) on the 'ole bike.
We are actively looking to expand our number of racers and are currently accepting resumes.
We want just about everyone....XC, DS, DH, Super D, Dirt Jumpers
The best thing to do is to send it to (teamtowncycle@gmail.com) and/ or drop it off at the shop.
You don't need to be first place at every event (it sure wouldn't hurt)
we just want to know the following about you:
How long you have been racing
Class(es) raced
Results
who else you have ridden for
why you ride
if you have been at it for 5+ years just include the last few seasons.

Jungle Habitat Trail Maintence - January 2009
Happy New Year! It's time again for our monthly trail maintenance at Jungle Habitat. Join us on Sunday morning, January 11 at 8:45 a.m. for a few hours of trail work. For all of you Campmor H2H racers, this time can be put towards your PayDirt hours for the 2009 season - it's never to early to work on those hours!
In the meantime, let's give a hand to the intrepid group of 10 or so volunteers who came out for our December event! Here's a few pictures of the hearty band!
And we hope to see you on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 8:45 at Jungle Habitat - wear your warm work gear, and we'll supply the rest!

Sunday morning ride
WoW!!!! What a bunch of troopers, showing up at 8 am on a cold and snowy Sunday morning to ride around the Habitat. Thanks to everyone who came out. I think the new trail rides great, except for the 2 food deep snow drifts.
Thanks again for coming out.
